“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’” (Matt 28:18-20)
radio ministry
One of the ministry goals of Grace Reformed Presbyterian Church (GRPC) is to reach our local community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2013, the elders of GRPC introduced a radio ministry to the Greeneville community. The program is called “Captivated by Christ” and it is our aim to bring glory and honor to God through Christ-centered preaching and systematic teaching through the books of the Bible.
We unashamedly proclaim that God’s Word is infallible, inerrant, and sufficient for all of life; therefore, we fervently teach the Bible as the authoritative Word of God. In addition, we teach the Bible expositionally, also known as expository preaching, which means that the teaching is focused on explaining the meaning of Scripture, verse-by-verse, in its historical and grammatical context. Our teaching aims to illuminate the Biblical text to a contemporary audience that is likely unfamiliar with the cultural and historical settings within which the passage was written.
We invite you to listen to sound biblical teaching on our 30-minute weekly radio program called “Captivated by Christ” which is broadcast on Truth-FM 91.1 on Sundays at 8:30 a.m.
